The Opportunity

\n

This is a highly commercial role focused on account ownership, revenue growth and sector development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a sales plan for their assigned sectors, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, securing new business opportunities and achieving agreed annual revenue and margin targets.

\n

The ideal candidate will be a consultative sales professional, experienced in technology-led solution selling, who can build trusted client relationships while driving measurable commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, expand services and strengthen client relationships.
  • \n
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and market engagement.
  • \n
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • \n
  • Lead customer meetings, discovery sessions and commercial presentations.
  • \n
  • Work with internal creative, technical and delivery teams to create tailored client solutions.
  • \n
  • Prepare proposals, presentations / tenders and commercial responses.
  • \n
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and sales forecasts.
  • \n
  • Develop knowledge of assigned sectors, market trends and competitor activity.
  • \n
  • Lead customer meetings and discovery workshops, taking a consultative approach to understand business challenges and objectives.

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, account management or solution sales.
  • \n
  • A track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business.
  • \n
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • \n
  • Commercial awareness, including margin, revenue and profitability.
  • \n
  • Experience preparing proposals, presentations or tender responses.
  • \n
  • Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • \n
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
  • \n
  • CRM experience, including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • \n
