Day & night Care Assistants

We are looking to recruit day or night Care Assistants to work in a residential care home in Royston supporting older people. To qualify, you will have a minimum of 6 moths experience in a residential or nursing care environment.

Job description

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and continence care, while ensuring the individual’s dignity and privacy. [1]

• Nutrition and Hydration: Planning and preparing meals tailored to dietary requirements, and assisting clients who have trouble feeding themselves.
\n
• Mobility Support: Helping individuals get in and out of bed, move around their home, or use mobility aids like hoists.
\n
• Housekeeping: Performing light domestic tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, washing dishes, and running errands.
\n
• Companionship: Engaging in conversation, organizing recreational activities, and accompanying clients to medical appointments or social outings.
\n
• Monitoring and Reporting: Observing changes in physical or mental health and immediately reporting concerns to senior staff or medical professionals.
