FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading international professional services company with the recruitment of a Senior Client Services Accountant.
\nPermanent position. This is a Hybrid working (3 days in the company's Didcot office & 2 days at Home). Flexible Start and Finish times available.

\n\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of up to four clients, acting as their primary point of contact for accounting and financial matters. \n
- Build strong, long-term client relationships and develop a detailed understanding of each client’s operations. \n
- Act as a trusted business partner, providing practical accounting support and resolving complex client queries. \n
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts from initial records through to completion. \n
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts. \n
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure financial records are complete and accurate. \n
- Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and financial reporting. \n
- Review bookkeeping records, supplier invoices, accounts payable information and payment activity. \n
- Preparation of the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) regulatory returns. \n
- Prepare or review VAT returns and ensure submissions are completed accurately. \n
- Support compliance with relevant HMRC and Companies House filing requirements. \n
- Manage and support two Client Services Accountants. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice, client accounting, industry finance or a similar role. \n
- Hands-on experience preparing statutory and management accounts from start to finish. \n
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle. \n
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping, cash-flow management and VAT submissions. \n
- Strong client relationship, communication and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to manage two direct reports and support their professional development. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage client deadlines and team workloads. \n
- Knowledge of HMRC and Companies House filing requirements would be beneficial but is not essential. \n
- Newly or nearly qualified (ACCA/ACA or equivalent). \n
