Interim Financial Controller

We're partnering with a well-established business seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to provide financial leadership, strengthen controls, and deliver high-quality reporting to support strategic decision-making.

This is a hands-on role with broad responsibility across financial reporting, compliance, finance operations, systems, and team leadership. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring the business has the financial insight and governance needed to perform at its best.

Please note this role is fully office based.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
\n
• Ensure statutory, regulatory, and Companies Act compliance.
\n
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and management accounts.
\n
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
\n
• Support external audits and maintain robust financial controls.
\n
• Take ownership of Open Accounts administration, mappings, and ledger structures.
\n
• Oversee company secretarial activities and corporate governance requirements.
\n
• Lead and develop the finance team while driving continuous improvement.
\n

About You

\n
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
\n
• Proven Financial Controller or senior finance leadership experience.
\n
• Strong financial reporting, controls, and compliance knowledge.
\n
• Experience managing finance teams and improving processes.
\n
• Advanced Excel and strong systems expertise.
\n
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
\n
