Position: Administrator
\nLocation: Northan Compound Land, Exeter EX2 8NJ
\nPay Rate: £13.22 per hour (PAYE)
\nContract: 6 Months (Till Dec)
\nHours: 40. hours per week
\n\nJob Description
\n\nJob Purpose
\nTo provide efficient administrative, customer service, and operational support within the Service Centre, ensuring accurate data management, effective communication, and smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support both internal and external stakeholders.
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\nCustomer Service & Communication
\n- \n
- Answer inbound telephone calls in a professional, polite, and efficient manner. \n
- Accurately log customer enquiries, complaints, and service requests within Salesforce.com. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. \n
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention. \n
- Assist Credit Control with outstanding debt queries through effective investigation and resolution. \n
- Welcome visitors, organise meeting rooms, and arrange refreshments as required. \n
Administration & Data Management
\n- \n
- Perform data checking, validation, interrogation, and updating of spreadsheets and internal systems. \n
- Transfer and update information from spreadsheets into bespoke software applications. \n
- Process information and documentation requests in a timely and accurate manner. \n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within Salesforce.com and other business systems. \n
- Order and manage office stationery and supplies. \n
Operational Support
\n- \n
- Support the daily driver debrief process, recording issues and actions taken. \n
- Monitor waste collection rounds, tracking progress and reporting any issues to the management team. \n
- Reallocate work between waste collection rounds to ensure operational efficiency. \n
- Investigate operational data, identify issues, and provide solution-focused recommendations. \n
- Operate the weighbridge for incoming and outgoing waste movements. \n
- Input weighbridge tickets, photographs, and associated documentation accurately into company systems. \n
Health, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and relevant legislation. \n
- Maintain compliance with company processes and operational standards. \n
- Participate in required training and development activities. \n
General Duties

- Support the Administration Coordinator and management team with ad hoc projects and tasks. \n
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required to support business operations. \n
- Contribute positively to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
Skills & Qualifications
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Strong administrative and organisational skills. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. \n
- Good numeracy skills and confidence working with data. \n
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems. \n
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal communication skills. \n
- Ability to investigate and analyse information to identify solutions. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach to work. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems. \n
- Experience within customer service, administration, logistics, waste management, or operational support environments. \n
- Knowledge of weighbridge operations and transport/logistics processes. \n
