\nThe Role
\nAs a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating production machinery, ensuring components are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and in line with quality standards.
\nYou will play a key role in meeting production targets, maintaining quality requirements, and supporting continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing operation.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Operate production machinery in accordance with work instructions and company procedures. \n
- Load and unload materials and components safely. \n
- Monitor machine performance and production output. \n
- Carry out routine quality checks and inspections. \n
- Use measuring equipment to verify component dimensions. \n
- Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality issues. \n
- Complete production records and documentation accurately. \n
- Ensure materials, drawings, and route cards are correctly followed. \n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area. \n
- Support continuous improvement and 5S activities. \n
- Work closely with colleagues, team leaders, and quality personnel to achieve production targets. \n
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times. \n
What We're Looking For
\nEssential Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or machine operating environment. \n
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. \n
- Ability to follow technical instructions and production documentation. \n
- Experience using basic inspection and measuring equipment. \n
- Strong work ethic and reliability. \n
- Good communication and teamwork skills. \n
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \n
Desirable Experience

- Experience operating CNC or automated production machinery. \n
- Previous experience within precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing. \n
- Familiarity with engineering drawings. \n
- Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers. \n
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles. \n
