Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where you can make a real impact? Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded HR Manager to lead the HR function for their UK business. This is a standalone generalist role offering a varied workload across employee relations, recruitment, payroll, learning and development, and HR strategy. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in supporting managers, driving employee engagement and ensuring best practice across all areas of HR.Key Responsibilities\n

  • Act as the trusted HR advisor to managers across the business.
  • \n
  • Manage employee relations cases including performance, disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
  • \n
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
  • \n
  • Manage the monthly payroll process and maintain HR systems and employee records.
  • \n
  • Lead salary review and employee benefits processes.
  • \n
  • Support performance management, succession planning and learning & development initiatives.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
  • \n
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support organisational change projects.
  • \n
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic HR initiatives.
  • \n
About YouYou'll be an experienced HR generalist who enjoys working autonomously and building strong relationships across a business. You'll ideally have:\n
    \n
  • Significant generalist HR experience.
  • \n
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and confidence managing complex cases.
  • \n
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting recruitment, payroll and HR administration.
  • \n
  • Excellent coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • CIPD qualification would be advantageous.
  • \n
