About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy yard team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a physically demanding role that involves manual handling throughout the day and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manually lifting and moving 20kg bags throughout the shift.
\n
• Stacking bags safely onto pallets, building pallets to approximately 3 metres high.
\n
• Loading and unloading materials as required.
\n
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised.
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures.
\n
• Supporting the wider yard team with general duties.
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n
• Physically fit and able to undertake repetitive heavy lifting.
\n
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
\n
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
\n
• Able to work well as part of a team.
\n
• Previous yard, warehouse or production experience is desirable but not essential.
\n
