OFSTED Registered Residential Child Care Manager
\nLocation: NorthumberlandSalary: £60,000 plus performance bonus of up to £6,000Job Type: Full Time
\nAbout the Role
\nWe are seeking an experienced and passionate OFSTED Registered Residential Child Care Manager to lead a brand-new therapeutic children's home in Northumberland.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to establish a high-quality service, build and develop a dedicated team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Supported by an experienced senior leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding, trauma-informed care.
\nA relocation package is available for the successful candidate.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the children's home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards. \n
- Support the home's registration process and ongoing development. \n
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing staff team. \n
- Deliver therapeutic, child-centred care focused on positive outcomes. \n
- Manage budgets, staffing, safeguarding and quality assurance. \n
- Build effective relationships with local authorities, families and partner agencies. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). \n
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or senior leader within a residential children's home. \n
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED, safeguarding and Children's Homes Regulations. \n
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
