Team Manager - Adult Mental Health

Our client, a North London borough, is seeking an agency Team Manager for its Adult Mental Health team.

The role is paid at £43 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• Forensic services
\n
• Managing day to day operations within the team, including assessment, case management, support planning and review
\n
• Ensuring incoming work is screened, prioritised, and allocated appropriately, with timely case turnover.
\n
• Leading safeguarding adults work under the Care Act 2014, including s.42 enquiries.
\n
• Ensuring risk assessment and risk management processes are robust.
\n
• Section 117
\n
• Performance management
\n
• Strong Leadership
\n

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• Must have experience as a Team Manager managing social work staff
\n
• Must have significant experience and knowledge of working in adult mental health settings and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding frameworks
\n
• Must be a strong leader
\n
• Must have proven track record in performance management
\n
