Description

  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
  • \n
  • Draft and negotiate lease extensions, new leases, transfers, auction sales, easements, deeds, and licences.
  • \n
  • Handle pre-emption rights, Land Registry applications, adverse possession claims, and unregistered titles.
  • \n
  • Conduct legal due diligence on leases, deeds, and property title documents, including analysing title structures.
  • \n
  • Respond to legal and title enquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Contribute to departmental projects as required.
  • \n
  • Update property management systems and coordinate information with other departments.
  • \n
  • Support senior legal team members by meeting deadlines and ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • \n
  • Develop and streamline procedures to improve case management workflows.
  • \n
  • Assist with complaints responses, ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication.
  • \n
  • Prepare materials for presentations, meetings, and filings.
  • \n
  • Mentor, supervise, and support junior team members as needed.
  • \n
  • Undertake legal research using online resources and internal materials.

Profile

  • Law graduate or equivalent with strong residential conveyancing experience
  • \n
  • Confident managing a varied caseload independently from start to finish
  • \n
  • Skilled in drafting and interpreting complex legal documents
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
  • \n
  • Highly accurate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • \n
  • Effective at liaising with internal teams, leaseholders, solicitors, and third parties
  • \n
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and keen to streamline processes
  • \n
  • High integrity and professionalism in all work
  • \n
  • Comfortable supporting, mentoring, or guiding junior team members
  • \n
  • Computer literate with solid Word and Excel skills
  • \n
  • Desirable: knowledge of statutory lease extensions, enfranchisement, or property acquisitions
