Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious accident repair centre in Derby, for the position of Vehicle Damage Assessor. Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:\n

\n
• Assess damaged vehicles and generate accurate repair estimates
\n
• Liaise with insurers, customers, and workshop teams throughout the repair process
\n
• Manage repairs from initial assessment through to completion, maintaining high standards
\n
• Ensure all repair methods adhere to manufacturer and industry standards
\n
• Identify additional repair opportunities where appropriate
\n
• Monitor repair progress and maintain documentation
\n
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the process
\n
• Support workshop efficiency through precise estimating and planning
\n

Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator, or VDA
\n
• Strong understanding of accident repair procedures and repair methods
\n
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
\n
• Experience working with prestige or high-value vehicles is advantageous
\n
• ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential
\n
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
\n
