Finance Analyst

Location: Essex (multi-site) | Hybrid working available

An established and growing organisation is looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to broaden their management accounting experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and providing meaningful insight to support business decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts and financial analysis.
\n
• Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close.
\n
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
\n
• Supporting operational managers with financial reporting and performance reviews.
\n
• Managing sales invoicing, credit control and fixed asset accounting.
\n
• Assisting with statutory audit requirements and continuous process improvements.
\n
• Providing support across the wider finance function as required.
\n

We're looking for someone who is:

\n
• Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
\n
• Experienced in management accounting within a commercial environment.
\n
• Highly organised with excellent analytical and Excel skills.
\n
• Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
\n
• Proactive, detail-oriented and keen to develop professionally.
\n

Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial systems is advantageous.
