School Psychologist - Albuquerque, NM

This contract opportunity near Albuquerque offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, running from August 3rd through May 28th, and involves working with both elementary and secondary student populations.

Qualifications:

• Certification or eligibility for the NM PED license (must have or be able to obtain prior to start)
• Experience with elementary and secondary caseloads preferred
• Familiarity with school-based psychological assessments and report writing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families regarding learning and behavioral interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and multidisciplinary planning
• Maintain timely documentation and reporting in compliance with school and district policies
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional growth through evidence-based practices
