We invite you to be part of our expanding OBGyn Hospitalist program at our organization in Washington, DC.
Currently, we are seeking candidates for both full-time and PRN roles.
Position DetailsFull-time team members (1.0 FTE) will provide round-the-clock coverage, averaging six 24-hour shifts each month. This role offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits, including:

Additional compensation will be provided for shifts exceeding the contractual minimum.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee deliveries within our Maternal Health Access Program
- Manage unassigned obstetric and gynecological patients arriving through the Emergency Department
- Support community physicians in Labor and Delivery, including assisting in cesarean sections, providing initial care in emergencies, and offering triage support
Ideal candidates will be adept at handling emergencies in both obstetrics and gynecology, demonstrating flexibility to take on supportive roles when necessary. They will practice evidence-based medicine collaboratively and advocate for patient safety and healthcare equity.
Reporting StructureThe OBGyn Hospitalist will report to the Medical Director, who in turn reports to the Vice President of Medical Affairs. Collaboration will also occur with the Director of Nursing, Director of Operations, and Chairperson of Women and Infant Services to enhance quality, safety, and patient-centered care initiatives. Additionally, the Clinical Associate will work closely with community obstetricians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists to address patient care needs and promote operational efficiency.
