This contract opportunity invites a skilled School Psychologist to collaborate with faculty and administration, assist in developing and implementing IEPs, and foster a positive learning atmosphere for students near Corrales, NM.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments
  • Familiarity with special education law, IEP processes, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
  • Strong consultation and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and teams
  • Proven ability to deliver individual and group counseling interventions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive practices and supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred for support or special education services
  • Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
  • Consult with educators and parents regarding behavioral interventions, classroom management, and student learning needs
  • Lead or participate in the Response to Intervention (RTI) or Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process
  • Assist in designing and delivering professional development for school staff on relevant psychological or behavioral topics
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district requirements
