\n We are hiring a Manufacturing Work Instruction Specialist for a documentation-focused role supporting a wire harness/electrical manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, first article inspection, wire harness or electrical assembly, quality documentation, or blueprint interpretation who wants to use their technical knowledge in a role that directly supports production accuracy and consistency.\n

\n This is not a standard assembly role. In this position, you will review blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and customer requirements to create and maintain clear manufacturing work instructions.\n

\n Responsibilities\n
\n
\n As a Work Instruction Specialist, you will:\n
\n
    \n
  • Review blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and customer requirements.
    • \n
  • Create, format, and maintain clear step-by-step work instructions for production teams.
    • \n
  • Develop and update SOPs, visual aids, process documents, and manufacturing procedures.
    • \n
  • Translate technical information into easy-to-follow instructions for the production floor.
    • \n
  • Support first article, production, quality, and engineering teams with accurate documentation.
    • \n
  • Identify discrepancies in drawings, BOMs, or work instructions and communicate needed updates.
    • \n
  • Maintain organized documentation and support revision control requirements.
    • \n
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to create and manage documents and reports.
    • \n
  • Help ensure production documentation supports quality, consistency, and compliance.
    • \n

\n Requirements\n
\n
\n Qualified candidates will have:\n
\n
    \n
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production support, engineering support, quality, technical documentation, or a related environment.
    • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, BOMs, and technical specifications.
    • \n
  • Experience creating, updating, or working closely with manufacturing work instructions, SOPs, job guides, travelers, or production documentation.
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize technical information clearly.
    • \n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • \n
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production workflows.
    • \n
  • Ability to communicate clearly with production, quality, and engineering teams.
    • \n
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
    • \n

\n Preferred Experience\n
\n
    \n
  • Wire harness, cable assembly, electrical assembly, or aerospace manufacturing experience.
    • \n
  • First article inspection or quality documentation experience.
    • \n
  • Document control or revision-controlled documentation experience.
    • \n
  • Experience with BOMs, routers, travelers, work orders, or ERP systems.
    • \n

\n Location: Auburn, WA\n
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM\n
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience\n
\n
