School Psychologist in Plainfield, IL

• Previous experience as a School Psychologist, preferably within elementary school settings

• Ability to travel between two school sites throughout the week
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and student well-being

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations for students to determine needs and appropriate supports
• Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide guidance on academic and behavioral interventions
• Delivering counseling and mental health support to students as needed
• Supporting crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
• Promoting safe, positive school climates through proactive planning and collaboration
