Position Overview

Our organization is seeking a full-time oral and maxillofacial surgeon to take on the role of Chief of Oral Health within the Department of Surgery's Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will engage in a comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery practice while also overseeing administrative functions related to both OMFS and Dentistry. Specific duties will include:

  • Managing clinical practices and providing administrative leadership.
  • Delivering didactic and clinical training for residents.
  • Participating in outreach and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Collaborating with community organizations.
  • Supporting and promoting clinically focused research.

Additionally, the Division supervises a general practice residency alongside the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, with funding available for academic endeavors.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a DDS or DMD degree and hold board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Experience and credentials should align with the requirements for an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945.
  • Compensation determined by academic rank and experience.
