Department Overview

The Department of Ophthalmology handles approximately 40,000 visits annually across all facilities. Faculty members provide care at the Hines VA Hospital, the Loyola Outpatient Center (LOC), and four additional satellite locations. The glaucoma ophthalmologist will primarily see patients at the LOC, the Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge—a 104,000 square foot multispecialty outpatient facility—and the Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
• Compensation based on academic rank and experience
