\n Key Responsibilities:\n
\n
\n • Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care\n
\n
\n • Conduct office consultations and wellness exams\n
\n
\n • Support labor and delivery at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale\n
\n
\n • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and support staff\n
\n
\n • Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care\n
\n
\n • Utilize integrated behavioral health services, care coordination, and case management\n
\n
\n \n
\n
\n Position Overview:\n
\n
\n • Join a close-knit group of 5 Certified Nurse Midwives and 1 OB/GYN Physician\n
\n
\n • Call schedule of 1 night per week and 1/5 weekends\n
\n
\n • Call-sharing with a group of 5 physicians\n
\n
\n • Work in a supportive, patient-centered environment with a strong focus on holistic care\n
\n

\n Requirements:\n

\n • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n
\n
\n • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records\n

\n Education & Training:\n
\n
\n • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Midwifery\n
\n
\n • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)\n
\n
\n • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Illinois\n
\n
\n • Current DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License\n
\n
