Become a vital part of our team, which serves over 4,000 cardiology patients each year. Our facility is renowned for performing procedures such as PTCA, stenting, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, in addition to caring for individuals with congestive heart failure and conducting electrophysiology studies. Our unit has received accolades for its exemplary performance and dedication to achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Employ clinical judgment to assess and address patient responses to current or potential health issues.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to cardiovascular patients.
- Engage in national clinical trials overseen by our research department.
- Adhere to strict attendance policies to ensure consistent and reliable patient care.
- Valid Michigan RN license is mandatory.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU environment is essential.
- Experience with EKG interpretation is necessary.
- Willingness to float to similar units as needed.
- Preferred experience includes Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, ventilator management, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
- Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application is required.
