- Work schedule: Monday to Friday with 10-hour shifts, including night call
- Patient load: 20-30 patients per shift
- Responsibilities include outpatient clinic duties and inpatient consultations
- Required procedures: ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy
- On-call duties with a 30-minute response time
- Average of 2+ callbacks per week
- GI lab procedures following scheduled colonoscopies
- Minimal call through the emergency department for GI bleeds
