Our organization is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to spearhead our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team based in West Michigan.
This leadership position will entail providing physician oversight and guidance for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line. The Medical Director will work in partnership with our Administrative and Clinical Director for Women’s and Children’s Services, alongside our OB/GYN Medical Directors for Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore. Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Leadership: Direct and manage the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line, ensuring top-tier care for complex maternal fetal cases.
- Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered services for individuals facing high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic, consultative, and management services, while collaborating closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure seamless care.
- Program Development: Partner with administrative and clinical leaders to enhance and develop our Maternal Fetal Medicine program. The Medical Director will be accountable for the performance of assigned offices and programs in the West Michigan area, focusing on quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial objectives.
- Education and Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to medical students and residents.

Qualifications:- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine practice.
- Preferred: At least 2 years in a leadership role or completion of relevant training for this position.
- Physicians must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with a commitment to achieving board certification within 2 years of eligibility.
- A valid State of Michigan license is required upon employment.
- DEA license is necessary.
