Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students across multiple campuses as a School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers part-time flexibility (29 hours per week) with an option for hybrid work, while still being able to make a positive impact on campus. Start the school year alongside a collaborative team, with professional development days beginning July 27th.

Your expertise will drive student success by participating as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, providing crucial educational assessments, clear and thorough reports, and ongoing direction for families and staff. As a trusted liaison, you’ll connect students and families to community resources, offer guidance on educational and behavioral strategies, and maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and administration.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana DOE certification in School Psychology
• Extensive knowledge of psychoeducational evaluations, IDEA compliance, and special education eligibility
• Proven experience interpreting assessment results and producing comprehensive evaluation reports
• Excellence in collaboration with diagnostic, social work, SLP, and administrative staff
• Skilled in communicating complex concepts clearly to educators and families
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple cases and timelines
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
• District background check and fingerprinting required

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students
• Prepare written reports and communicate results within required timeframes
• Advise and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized programs
• Serve as a resource to students, families, and school personnel regarding assessments, intervention strategies, and support services
• Maintain meticulous records and uphold program accountability
• Participate in in-service training with staff and parents
