Job Description

This full-time role spans from August 3rd through May 28th, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll play a pivotal role supporting student success through assessment, intervention, and consultation, helping create safe, supportive learning environments.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for NM PED license (support available in obtaining licensure if needed)
- Experience with both elementary and secondary caseloads is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and staff
- Competence in conducting assessments, writing reports, and providing evidence-based interventions
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for individualized education planning
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate support services
- Facilitate counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in eligibility meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing case management
