Step into a vital role supporting student well-being and success as a full-time school psychologist. The position is set to begin in August and will focus on delivering comprehensive psychological services at the elementary level. You’ll split your time between three different districts, ensuring consistent and meaningful support for students and staff while enjoying the variety that comes with working across diverse educational environments.

Ideal candidates will have proficiency in collaboration, assessment, consultation, and intervention, as well as a genuine passion for nurturing students’ strengths in the school setting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current and active Illinois School Psychologist certification
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience or strong interest in elementary school counseling and psychological services
  • Excellent ability to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Organizational proficiency for managing responsibilities across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to support special education eligibility and intervention planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to develop behavior and academic intervention strategies
  • Offer direct support and counseling to students, as well as consultative services to families and staff
  • Oversee progress monitoring and adjust interventions as needed
  • Travel between district locations as necessary to ensure comprehensive support
