Job Description
Bellevue Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support exceptional experiences for our clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care. In this position, you will take an active role in:\n

- Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry \n
- Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care \n
- Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography \n
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation \n
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately \n
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces \n

- Compensation: $22-25 per hour, for each hour worked \n
- This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday, with Saturdays being rotating. \n

- 2+ years of veterinary assistant or related role preferred \n
- Proficiency in the following skills:\n
- \n
- Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments \n
- Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures \n
- Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs preferred \n
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation \n
- Strong organizational and time management skills \n
- Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members \n
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday \n
