\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n
    \n
  • Plan, assemble, install, repair, and inspect rigging equipment and weight-handling gear.
  • \n
  • Safely move and position heavy equipment, machinery, structural components, and sensitive equipment.
  • \n
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with multiple trades to complete rigging operations safely and efficiently.
  • \n
  • Inspect and test rigging equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
  • \n
  • Assist with salvage and recovery operations as needed.
  • \n

\n Minimum Requirements\n
\n
    \n
  • Minimum3 years of recent shipyard rigging experience.
  • \n
  • Ability to pass all required pre-employment tests.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of rigging practices, equipment, load calculations, and safe lifting procedures.
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
  • \n
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
  • \n
  • Ability to wear required OSHA-compliant PPE and perform the physical demands of the job.
  • \n
  • Must be aU.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.

\n All employees are expected to adhere to the companys safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.\n
