Key Qualifications:

• Current or eligibility to obtain a New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED) license as a School Psychologist
• Experience with elementary and secondary students preferred
• Excellent communication, assessment, and counseling skills
• Strong collaboration abilities to consult with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Ability to conduct evaluations and develop effective intervention strategies

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate interventions and supports
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
