We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Contingent Physician Assistant to become part of our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team located in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opportunity Overview
Position Type: Contingent (0.0 FTE)
Schedule: 25-hour or 8-hour shifts as required
Location: Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
Specialty: Neonatal Physician Assistant with fellowship training in neonatology
Hospital Information: Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
Call Requirements: No call obligations for APPs

Qualifications
PA with fellowship training in neonatology
APPs: Must be board certified in their specialty before starting
Valid Michigan medical license
DEA license
ACLS/BLS certification (must be kept current)
Responsibilities
A typical day may involve:
Delivering direct patient care
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
Participating in quality improvement projects
Supporting community health initiatives
