Sanitation Associate I
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sanitation Associate to support facility cleanliness and organization while helping maintain a safe and productive work environment. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic.
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the facility
- Sweep, dust, mop, and maintain work areas
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
- Assist with facility upkeep and organization
- Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (training and experience preferred)
- Support warehouse and facility maintenance activities as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning, sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or facility maintenance experience preferred
- Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable with a strong attendance record
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including cooler environments
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a physically active environment throughout the shift
Additional Information
- Steel-toe boots are required on the first day
- Employees should wear jeans and appropriate clothing for occasional work in colder temperatures
