Family Medicine w/ OB Opportunity - Fruitland, ID (Fruitland Health Plaza)

Our organization is currently in search of a Family Medicine Physician who is dedicated to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care within a rural family practice environment, specifically in Fruitland, Idaho. This role includes obstetrics (OB) responsibilities.

The Fruitland Health Plaza operates as a multi-specialty facility catering to the healthcare needs of Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. The services provided encompass family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, and orthopedic care. Additionally, on-site facilities include a laboratory, x-ray, and CT imaging. OB duties will involve deliveries at a regional medical center located just 10 minutes from Fruitland, with opportunities to engage in newborn nursery care and inpatient pediatrics if desired. Due to the rural setting of this position, physicians are eligible for state loan repayment benefits.

This full-time position offers a traditional work schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring at least 32 hours of patient interaction time that includes OB responsibilities. General call is set at 1:6, with specific OB hospital call requirements to be determined.

Key Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program;
• Board certification, or the ability to achieve certification within three years of employment;
• Idaho medical licensure to practice in all aspects of medicine;
• Valid registration for controlled substances with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
