\nAs a Machinist I, you'll join the Flex Machining team supporting both production and engineering work. This role is ideal for a machinist with a solid foundation in CNC machining who is ready to continue developing setup skills while working alongside experienced machinists, programmers, and engineers.

\n&99;️ What you'll be doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, and waterjet machines with moderate supervision \n
- Machine production and engineering parts while maintaining quality standards \n
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job documentation \n
- Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, and fixture preparation \n
- Perform preventative machine maintenance according to PM schedules \n
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment \n
- Load and make basic edits to CNC programs when required \n
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas \n
- Follow engineering instructions, SOPs, and quality procedures \n
- Work closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to continuously improve machining processes \n

- 2+ years of CNC and/or manual machining experience \n
- Experience with CNC mills or CNC lathes \n
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings \n
- Basic knowledge of G-Code, M-Code, or Mazatrol \n
- Experience using precision measuring tools \n
- Strong math skills \n
- High school diploma or GED \n
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic \n
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment \n
