Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist certification required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois is mandatory
- Prior experience in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to travel between multiple district locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and emotional wellness
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success and a positive school environment
- Deliver consultation and intervention services to address academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Provide crisis intervention and contribute to preventative programs and staff training as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
