Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist certification required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois is mandatory
  • Prior experience in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability to travel between multiple district locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and emotional wellness
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success and a positive school environment
  • Deliver consultation and intervention services to address academic, social, and behavioral needs
  • Provide crisis intervention and contribute to preventative programs and staff training as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
