Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate school psychologist endorsement
- Active licensure in Illinois for school psychology
- Previous experience in elementary school settings highly preferred
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, interpreting data, and developing intervention strategies
- Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to culturally responsive and equitable practices
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve multiple school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across two elementary campuses as part of a multidisciplinary support team
- Conduct cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments to guide educational planning
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and intervention planning
- Collaborate with teachers and families to implement effective strategies for student success
- Support the development of positive, inclusive school climates through prevention and early intervention initiatives
