Field Service Technican

Title: Field Service Technician Rate: $19.28/hr Location: Miami, FL / Fort Lauderdale, FL (Offsite) Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST; weekend or evening on-call availability may be required Note: This is a W2 contract position – C2C, 1099, and 3rd party candidates WILL NOT be considered The primary responsibilities for the Field Service Technician include providing great customer service while installing, diagnosing, and resolving retail equipment failures within service level agreements at locations in a service geography. This equipment includes POS (Point of Sale) registers, self-checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, servers, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking equipment, pharmacy, minute clinic, photo, and other related computer peripherals. The Field Service Technician position involves driving between locations in a large geography to service and install hardware, assisting other neighboring areas with workload, working normal day shift, and assisting on-call for weekday evenings onsite high severity service calls. Field Service Technicians must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several locations on a daily basis; drive times may be several hours in each direction. The Field Service Technician will be reimbursed for miles driven on their weekly expense report at 72¢ per mile driven. The Field Service Technician will work 40 hours per week, and their shift may include weekends or holidays, as required.
