Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial saws to cut Fiberglass materials according to specifications while maintaining quality and production standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read measurements accurately, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal and vertical band saws, cold saws, or other industrial cutting equipment.
\n
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cut lists.
\n
• Measure and cut steel, aluminum, or other metal materials to precise specifications.
\n
• Verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
\n
• Load and unload raw materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment.
\n
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
\n
• Maintain accurate production records and material counts.
\n
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
\n
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
\n
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
\n
• Assist with other warehouse or production duties as needed.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Previous experience operating industrial saws in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
\n
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
\n
• Experience reading blueprints and work orders is a plus.
\n
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
\n
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
\n
