Job Description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students in grades 7 through 12 as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment running from August 24, 2026 through June 11, 2027. You’ll play a key role in the special education process, collaborating with staff and families to help students achieve success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in grades 7–12 is desirable
- Strong background in special education processes, particularly with IEP evaluations and re-evaluations
- Proficiency in psychological testing, assessment, and report writing
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete all initial and re-evaluation paperwork and conduct mandated assessments for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Analyze testing results and prepare comprehensive, compliant reports
- Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings, presenting findings clearly to teams and families
- Provide possible direct student support, such as counseling, consultation, or behavioral interventions, as requested
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop effective strategies and supports for student success
- Keep thorough documentation and maintain confidentiality in line with school and legal protocols
