Mechanical Commissioning Foreman

Overview
\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Foreman to lead the startup, flushing, testing, and commissioning of commercial chilled water and heating water systems. This individual will work closely with project management, field personnel, and clients to ensure all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to project specifications.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on mechanical leader with strong commissioning experience and a background in commercial or industrial construction.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead the startup and commissioning of chilled water and heating water systems. \n
- Coordinate system flushing, pressure testing, balancing, and operational verification. \n
- Review blueprints, submittals, specifications, and mechanical drawings. \n
- Verify proper installation of piping, pumps, valves, equipment, and associated components. \n
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical system deficiencies during commissioning. \n
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners throughout the commissioning process. \n
- Ensure all testing and documentation is completed accurately. \n
- Maintain a safe work environment while enforcing company safety standards. \n
- Lead field crews while maintaining productivity and quality expectations. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5+ years of experience with commercial mechanical systems. \n
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Foreman, Commissioning Foreman, Superintendent, or Lead Startup Technician preferred. \n
- Strong knowledge of: \n

- Chilled water systems \n
- Heating hot water systems \n
- Pumps \n
- Valves \n
- Mechanical equipment \n
- Hydronic piping systems \n
\n - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, submittals, and technical specifications. \n
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Strong communication and leadership skills. \n
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple commissioning activities. \n
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening. \n
Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift materials throughout the workday. \n
- Work in commercial and industrial construction environments. \n
- Comfortable working around moving equipment, elevated work areas, varying weather conditions, and construction-related hazards. \n
