Java Developer

Job Title: Java Developer Location: Jersey city, NJ Work Arrangement: Onsite Client Industry: Financial Services Duration: 12 Months Contract Schedule: Standard Shift - 8 AM EST to 5 PM EST Day To Day Responsbilities: Job Description: Good understanding of Java platform (JVM) for performance tuning and management. Solid hands-on experience on Linux platform. Strong experience in JDBC. Solid experience in Java application development using multithreading (concurrent processing). Good understanding of JVM performance tuning and management. Server-side application development in Core Java using PL/SQL to access data for data profiling. Creative and innovative problem-solving skills. Solid software development experience with Java, Python, Oracle, and Shell scripting. Hands-on experience with JDK 8. Knowledge of JDK 9 functional programming is a big plus. Familiarity with JUnit testing framework and Mocking libraries for unit and system testing. Familiar with Linux platform and commands. Strong understanding of application architecture. Experience creating PL/SQL queries and Stored Procedures. Compensation Hourly Rate: $60 - $ 65 per hour This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
