Procurement Administrator
-Location: Chicago, IL (Downtown Loop)
-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (100% Onsite)
-Duration: 6-Month Contract
-Pay: $25-30/hour
-Start Date: ASAP

Are you a highly organized administrative professional with strong communication skills and experience supporting procurement, contracts, or vendor-related activities? We are seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our team in Downtown Chicago for a six-month contract assignment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and excels at managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
-Serve as the first point of contact for procurement-related inquiries from internal and external customers, routing complex requests to appropriate team members.
-Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement -Department, including coordinating meetings, training calendars, procurement activities, and department communications.
-Maintain contract records and databases, ensuring proper storage, tracking, and reporting of expiring agreements in accordance with document retention policies.
-Assist project teams with gathering information and preparing independent cost estimates.
-Review vendor-submitted documentation for completeness, including disclosures, insurance certificates, references, and compliance requirements.
-Verify vendor eligibility through good-standing, debarment, and reference checks.
-Coordinate the collection, review, and approval of documents required throughout the procurement process.
-Organize and maintain procurement templates, contracts, policies, and reference materials to support department efficiency.
-Support vendor outreach and engagement activities.

Required Skills
-Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
-Excellent organizational and record-management abilities, particularly with contracts and procurement documentation.
-Experience managing a high-volume inbox and prioritizing competing deadlines.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in document review and tracking.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
-Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, contract administration, vendor management, or a related administrative role.
