About the Role

\n

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead / Foreman Carpenter to oversee and perform all aspects of carpentry work across residential and commercial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage crews, ensure quality craftsmanship, and drive projects from rough framing through finish work.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential and commercial job sites
  • \n
  • Perform hands-on work including framing, trim, cabinetry, siding, roofing, and finish carpentry
  • \n
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
  • \n
  • Coordinate daily manpower, materials, and workflow to meet deadlines
  • \n
  • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
  • \n
  • Assist with material takeoffs and basic estimating
  • \n
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and project requirements
  • \n
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site; enforce safety protocols
  • \n
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment efficiently
  • \n
  • Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices
  • \n

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or Senior Carpenter
  • \n
  • Strong background in residential and/or commercial carpentry
  • \n
  • Experience in all phases of carpentry (rough-in to finish)
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • \n
  • Leadership experience managing crews and job site operations
  • \n
  • Knowledge of building codes and job site safety standards
  • \n
  • Skilled with a wide range of tools and carpentry techniques
  • \n
  • Physically capable of performing demanding work on-site
  • \n
  • Reliable transportation
