Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will carry out a variety of tasks within our Automotive Service Center.
This includes, but is not limited to:- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Repairing and installing tires.
- Balancing wheels.
- Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive components.
- Performing oil changes.
- Repairing brake systems.
- Fixing starting and charging systems.
- Working on steering and suspension systems.
- Installing shocks and struts.
- Conducting alignments.
- Installing trailer hitches and wiring.
- Other assigned duties with ongoing on-the-job training.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
- Effective communication with customers and colleagues is necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous auto repair experience is preferred.
- Prior retail experience is also preferred.
- *For Michigan locations only* ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II, and ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level III, or equivalent Michigan certifications.
