Our organization, a leading OBGYN group in North Florida, is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist (Nocturnist) to join our esteemed team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care for private practice patients in labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and manage unassigned GYN emergencies
- Oversee labor, deliveries, admissions, inpatient consultations, and emergency GYN procedures
- Work collaboratively with private practice physicians, hospital midwives, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Engage in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives (limited involvement)
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligibility for a Florida medical license
- Previous experience as a hospitalist or nocturnist is preferred but not mandatory
