Exciting New OB Hospitalist Nocturnist Opportunity in Family-Friendly, SaratogaSprings, New York

Salary Range: $300K - $350K

Our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to become part of our committed team of physician OB/GYNs and Certified Nurse Midwives. This team also includes several outpatient-focused CNMs and NPs.

The Hospitalist will be responsible for delivering care to a diverse array of hospital-based OB/GYN patients. Our thriving OB program is expanding, with an anticipated 986 deliveries in 2025.

We provide tailored care both in the hospital and through our outpatient women's health practice, which is situated in a spacious, fully renovated facility.

The expected work schedule will consist of 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with approximately 13 weeknight shifts (Monday to Friday) in a 28-day cycle. Occasionally, a day shift may be required as part of these 13 shifts.

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering in-hospital obstetrical services in collaboration with CNMs, which encompasses emergency cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal births, operative vaginal births, patient triage, and rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients, as well as performing circumcisions.
• Providing in-hospital GYN care, including emergency GYN procedures, consultations, and care for admitted patients.
• Responding to patient inquiries from the practice, along with calls from nursing staff, the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and other consults.
• Engaging in resident education, particularly with Family Medicine residents.

You will also have the support of highly trained and experienced RNs, including a Board Certified Neonatologist (Director of Newborn Medicine) and a team of NNPs. Anesthesia coverage will be readily available.
