Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team in Tanner, AL. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations and employee relations activities
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance
- Administer company policies and procedures
- Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns
- Assist with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Coordinate training and development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Generate HR reports and maintain accurate documentation

Skills and Experience:
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist required
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
