Location: UCHealth Eastview Medical Center, Colorado Springs, CO

Department: Eastview XR

Employment Type: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Daytime

Compensation: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour, based on relevant experience. A relocation bonus may be available for eligible candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Specialty ARRT certification(s) as required for the role.
  • State licensure as mandated by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as a Healthcare Provider.
  • Current BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid for at least sixty days post-hire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review patient histories and initiate radiographic imaging as per physician orders, prioritizing patient education for clarity and cooperation.
  • Administer contrast media or related imaging medications safely while monitoring patient conditions.
  • Identify and report any changes in patient conditions as necessary.
  • Implement techniques to enhance image clarity, maintain quality control, and ensure equipment functionality in accordance with established Radiology best practices (AART).
