Job Opportunity: Surgical Pathologist

The Department of Pathology at our organization is on the lookout for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing range of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and diagnose surgical specimens, contributing to the handling of approximately 35,000 cases each year.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists.
  • Engage in clinical and translational research, working alongside investigators at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center.
Qualifications
  • Must possess an MD degree or its equivalent.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) is required.
  • Applicants must secure a medical license in the State of Illinois.
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.
