Job Opportunity: Surgical Pathologist
The Department of Pathology at our organization is on the lookout for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing range of services.
Key Responsibilities- Review and diagnose surgical specimens, contributing to the handling of approximately 35,000 cases each year.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists.
- Engage in clinical and translational research, working alongside investigators at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center.
- Must possess an MD degree or its equivalent.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) is required.
- Applicants must secure a medical license in the State of Illinois.
- Strong diagnostic capabilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment, working with a team of sub-specialized pathologists in a well-respected institution.
