Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Previous experience working with middle and high school students preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of special education processes, including IEPs
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete all initial and re-evaluation paperwork and administer required testing for IEPs
  • Analyze assessment data and develop clear, actionable reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding evaluation findings and recommendations
  • Support multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate interventions and educational supports
  • Provide direct student support as needed, offering guidance and strategies to promote student success
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations and district policies
